The aim of this article is to identify the learning and experiences built by the fellows of the Literacy Subproject, carried out in the scope of the Pedagogical Residency Program, in the Pedagogy Undergraduate Course at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), started in 2020 and developed in partnership with three schools of Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The partial results of the documentary and qualitative research are treated, which takes as its empirical corpus the reports produced by the 30 resident-fellows during the first module. The thematic content analysis technique was used, having as theoretical reference the authors who discuss teacher training and literacy in the EJA modality. The results indicate the challenges in the production of didactic materials for learners in the literacy phase in the context of remote education and the need to think about teaching from the perspective of praxis, considering the multiple dimensions that involve teaching.
