The Multiprofessional Residency Program in Primary Health Care (PRMAPS) linked to UNIFIP/PB (training institution), carries out actions in partnership with several municipalities (executing institution) of the hinterland of Paraiba. Aiming to promote and prevent health, the residents carry out collective activities, health actions at school, conversation circles, waiting rooms, inter-consultations and shifts in the intersectoral network of municipal services. In this sense, the present research aimed to analyze the possible impacts of the Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Health Care in a city of Paraíba, from the professionals' point of view. This is an exploratory research with a qualitative, phenomenological approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight professionals and the data collected was submitted to the Phenomenological Reduction technique, and four main categories were extracted, in the axis of contributions: Interdisciplinarity, Expansion of access to health actions and services, Intersectoriality, and Extended Look. Gaps and possible strategies for resolution were also pointed out. Through this study, it was possible to reflect on the actions of residents in a municipality of the State of Paraíba, highlighting the importance of this training model for the SUS (Health Unic System).
