CALL FOR ARTICLES: Thematic Dossier “Gender and Sexuality: rights & social struggles”

For the next edition of Perspecttivas Contemporâneas - ISSN 1980-0193 (v. 1, n. 1, jan/jun. 2025), the organizers of the dossier, Prof. Dr. Eric Heizen (Queen Mary - London) and Prof. Dr. Renan Antônio da Silva (UFScar) invite the academic community, researchers, and social movement activists to send their contributions in the format of a scientific article, to the dossier “Gender and Sexuality: Rights & Social Struggles”, according to guidelines below.

For the scientific article format, the text must contain, in 2 languages ​​(Portuguese, Spanish, French or English): title, abstract and keywords. In addition, it must contain an introduction, development, conclusion and bibliographic references written in the author's preferred language, including Portuguese, Spanish, French or English. Furthermore, it must have 1.5 spacing; Times New Roman font, size 14 in the title, size 12 in the summary and main text and size 10 in highlighted citations and footnotes; use underlining instead of italics (except in URL addresses); Figures and tables must be inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.

In addition to academic articles, the dossier will also receive publications for the following sections of the journal: In defense of research (free articles section); Generating themes (entry section); Political poetics (texts and artistic manifestations section) and Return Notebook (text reviews section)

All submissions must follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in “Submission and Guidelines for Authors”, in the “About” link on the journal page.
