No entanto devem ser realizadas as análises do sistema durante o período de um ano, como é exigida para a validação de todo o sistema de produção de água pela legislação.</span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"> </p><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: PT-BR; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: PT-BR;">QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM IN PRODUCTION OF PURIFIED WATER OBTAINED BY REVERSE OSMOSIS IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-style: italic; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: PT-BR;">ABSTRACT</span></p><p class="MsoCommentText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Purified water is an element of great importance in the pharmaceutical industry. It can be obtained by some purification procedures such as distillation, ion exchange and reverse osmosis. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of water treatment by analysis required by official compendia, ensuring the quality of purified water produced by reverse osmosis. The purified water system in the pharmaceutical industry is obtained by pretreatment of filters (sand filter, a micrometer polypropylene and activated charcoal) and reverse osmosis system. The analysis was made in three critical points: potable water (before pre-filtering), filtered water (after activated charcoal) and purified water (after reverse osmosis process). All points analyzed met specifications of the official codes. Therefore, the deployed purification system was efficient in production of purified water. However, to obtain the validation of the entire system, the analysis should be carried out during the period of one year as required in law. </span></p><p class="MsoCommentText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><br /><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: PT-BR; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;" lang="EN-US">KEYWORDS: </span>purification system of water, purified water, reverse osmosis, control of water quality, pharmaceutical industry.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">   </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"> </span></strong></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"> </p></span></span> ER -
